Additional operating features auto feed system that allows for an efficient and safe operation of the machine. Auto feed is a feature that allows the machine to "only bite off what it can chew". The feed rollers (which pull the wood into the chipper) are turned on and off based on how fast the cutting wheel is spinning. If the wheel slows down too much then the feed rollers are momentarily turned off. They automatically turn back on once the wheel is spinning at the correct speed. This momentarily pauses the machine from chipping wood, but increases productivity in the long run by preventing engine stalling and clogging of the wood-feed intake and the chip-discharge output side of the chipper. 360 degree swiveled discharge chute.
